We began reading Door in the Wall today. This will be an in-class novel that will primarily be done as a read-aloud.
Students should be writing a conclusion to their expository piece this evening and Wordly Wise 9 packet and story are due tomorrow.
All students will be taking the practice mastery test tomorrow at 8:15. Please make every attempt to be on time for school! Look for these booklets to come home with students tomorrow.
Wordly Wise 9 has been assigned. Complete the packet and write a story for Friday.
The CMT test is just around the corner. We will review and prepare all week. We will focus on test-taking strategies and get the class fired up to do well. You can do it!!!!
Each night students should be writing an expository paragraph that has been assigned in class that day. This should take about ten minutes per night. Monday they will write the introduction paragraph, Tuesday is subtopic 1, Wed subtopics 2/3, and Thursday is the writing of the conclusion.
