Tom Lee

Ask your children about our guest speaker, Tom Lee. Today, we enjoyed three wonderful presentations on Mythology from this professional storyteller. We will begin to explore mythology in Language Arts and Social Studies in the New Year. The knowledge he shared with everyone really got our students excited for this unit of study.

Leads

We will be focusing on some different aspects of expository writing over the next few days. Today students developed their knowledge of different types of leads: bold opinions, questions, statistics, amazing facts, quotes, and descriptive segments.

Tomorrow we will revisit transition words and start Act II of The Phantom Tollbooth.
