In the second bloxk of LA we read “How the Flamingoes Got Their Stockings.” THis is an origin tale from the literature book. They answered questions, some for homework, and will take a quiz on Friday. Study the vocabulary!

Hatchet Work

The final quiz is on Wednesday. Chapters 16-end will be covered. Students had three class periods to work on this. They need to bring book home and complete all work tonight. There was no monthly book report this month. Students were still required to read a self-selected book. We are having the class work on a “How To’ guide and survival kit essay that will be due Friday. It does not have to be typed. Must be neat and free of grammatical errors.
