Today we completed the Connecticut Course On Responsible Boating. We will have a review session on Thursday, and students will be given the exam on Friday. A score of 80% is required to pass the exam and to be eligible for a Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (good for the operation of any recreational vessel including a personal watercraft - PWC). If students wish to obtain a permanent boating certificate, they must submit a completed application, $25.00 fee and proof that they have passed this course. This must be done in person at the D.E.P in Old Lyme. We will be providing students with additional information on this in the days to come.
The May book project was assigned on Tuesday and is due next Thursday, June 4th. Students may not choose a project that they have done in the past.
